PreK, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and EC classes came to the library on Thursday, December 17 for our annual Holiday Story Hour. Students had their golden ticket punched to enter the event. They rotated through four stations: a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas by Mr. Blanchard, an audio/video rendition of The Polar Express with Ms. Mabery, green screen holiday photo shoot with Ms. Hill, and cookies and milk with Mrs. Shearin. Students wore their pajamas, and they each received a silver bell to represent the magic of the season.

They also taught the second graders a song in Spanish, performed skits of stories from around the world, and helped them create an Egyptian-style collar necklace. Thank you so much to South Central students, librarians, and teachers for a wonderful time!
