Summer Fun

5th Grade Memories

5th grade students reflected on their favorite memories of Creekside.





Awards Assemblies

All students participated in end of year awards programs to celebrate their hard work.  Third and fourth grade programs are shown.


PreK Graduation

Mrs. Wright's PreK students completed their school year with a graduation ceremony including caps, diplomas, and a musical performance.

Skedaddle for the Small Fries

The Creekside Running Club participated in the Skedaddle for the Small Fries 5k on Saturday, June 7.  Many Creekside runners won medals for either first or second place in their age division including Coach Jimmy Bowen, teacher Erin Kessel, teacher assistant Jill Fechter, and students Matthew Hill, Bryson Bowen, and Nazmya Awadallah. 








Pet Food Drive

Student Council sponsored a school pet food and supplies drive for the Pet Food Pantry of Eastern NC.  Creekside students brought in toys, leashes, food, and other supplies for dogs and cats in need.  Visit the Pet Food Pantry's Facebook page here.


1st Grade Spring & Summer Writing

First graders wrote responses to literature including Jonathan London's Froggy and Eric Carle's The Grouchy Ladybug.  They also wrote rainy day stories and completed research on ocean animals.











Wonderful Me!

Ms. Register's third graders studied character traits and then wrote acrostic poems to describe themselves.




Business Plans

Ms. Taylor's second graders learned what it means to be producers and consumers then created their own business plans.
